Virtual Reality has proven to be revolutionary for many industries: gaming, film making, architecture, medicine and engineering. But can it be a great tool for solving social issues? We believe it can. At VR Camp we challenge teams to fix education, migration, education and ecology through VR.
To learn about the planets while you travel through space or learn about blood cells while you ”swim” through the blood veins? Easy. It is not only a more engaging experience, but also a more efficient one.
Virtual Reality can communicate the stories of millions of Moldovans who work abroad and of their children left in Moldova who grow up with relatives instead of their parents.
The pollution of rivers, the deforestation, the problem with the garbage will be perceived as more real and urgent if communicated through a such immersive environment as VR.
EVR is already used in hospitals for the improvement of the emotional state of the patients. What other possibilities does VR hide?
